I’ve been scrolling through this subreddit, and the amount of bullshit that I see on this subreddit is absolutely insane.

There’s nothing critical or intelligent about this subreddit, to the point that criticism here is without any understanding of what’s actually going on in the country.

1. Why didn’t PM Modi go to Pahalgam after the deadly attack?
— Because it’d be a waste of time after Amit Shah went and understood the ground situation there.  Modi and Shah trust each other beyond this subreddit’s “criticality”—there was no need for optics for Modi here, he takes this utmost seriously.

2. Why didn’t Modi speak to the Indian public directly or the press directly?
— This weird notion that press briefings are something that should be done because most democracies do it, so we should also follow the same model—from everything we’ve seen from the PM, has he done a single press briefing, ever?  Why would he do it now?  He doesn’t do press briefings because he doesn’t like planted questions—very simple.  On a scale like this, when everyone is angry, most of all the INA, wouldn’t it be counter productive and morale loss for the INA when they themselves know that they made a mistake when being unable to defend what happened at Pahalgam?
— There’s a time for such questions, the shameless in left, and especially this subreddit is beyond my understanding.


3. Why did India lose control over the narrative globally?
— We don’t own the western world, or for that matter, the world media.  The world will believe what they want to believe.  The biggest L we took was due to TikTok propaganda.  And most of the world didn’t just buy whatever was served by Pakistan; there were a lot of reasonable journalists who proved the right points, and asked the right questions to the Pakistani representatives.  This particular point, I would only concede to you because our media management has always been terrible—as a nation, we’ve a habit of focusing on information, but not on presentation.  I think we would start focussing on it moving forward.


4. Why didn’t Modi confront the US when Trump took credit for ‘de-escalation’?
— Trump can take credit all he wants, he got spat in the face right after he took credit, by none other than Pakistanis.  If you think India has the power to go against the US, the biggest idiot would be you.  In some matters, India can stand its ground and say NO, because the world will also be OK that India said NO about it.  But US being the superpower, will have significant power when it comes to things like conflicts/wars, has a lot of power, to this day.
— Also, Modi just didn’t accept just like that, he accepted the ceasefire on a change in India’s war doctrine against Pakistan—any act of terror in India will be considered an act of war.

5. What did India gain from the ceasefire?
— If you believe your explanation to your question as the right justification—then I feel extremely sorry for you.  This is not 1971, you can’t do things like liberation of Balochistan like ex-PM Indira Gandhi did for East Pakistan, there are a lot of things at play here, and if you cannot critically think and understand what are the things at play here, then you’re absolutely the biggest dumb mf I would’ve officially ever seen in my life.
— Gains we made (I’ll list them so that the dumb mf you’re, you’d understand):
1. We’ve ensured to Pakistan, that if they do anything like this in the future, they’ll have a price to pay—in simple words; Modi just said: “You do anything going forward, I’ll fuck you up big time”.  And yeah, this message has been heard by the world, by everyone, including China.
2. We categorically denied any talks with Pakistan, and we reiterated that the only talks we’ll have with Pakistanis are after they handover POK to us; we said FU to even the US on this, as they thought that they could mediate this.
3. The IWT is still in abeyance, work has already started on it.  Over the next 5–10 years, Pakistan will have a big dent in its economy.  Mark this Reddit post, and mark my words, their people will suffer and cry—unless nincompoops like you who vote for the fuck up that’s called Congress who might undo this decision.
4. In the long term, when a lot of the truth will unfold, the Pakistanis will realise that their Army is weak, and can’t be trusted with jackshit, the image that the Army has built for the normal everyday Pakistani citizen will be shattered, a lot of internal conflicts will arise.  The unity that they’re showcasing right now, is temporary, they’ll soon realise what their fuck all army has done to them, and what happened really during these past few days.  Also, even if they become more united, and radicalised, it’s even more of a big win for India because now India will have an even more upper hand to say the entire fucking nation has been radicalised and is a fucking terror state.


PS:  I don’t understand this obsession with asking resignation.  He failed, he should answer, blah blah blah…
— First of all, it’s extremely abnormal to ask for resignation when you’ve actually gone ahead and done something about the situation, you’ve told to the Pakistanis that you’ll be fucked for this.
— Secondly, the concept of resignation is a fucking copout, it’s like saying that I can’t do anything about it, let someone else handle it, why would Modi, Shah, and Jaishankar do that after proving that they’ll fuck Pakistan if they’ve to?
— If anything, because of this situation, Pakistan has been caught with their pants down w.r.t their defence capabilities, and their propaganda.
When 26/11 happened, ministers of the UPA govt. resigned, because they had to, as they knew they couldn’t do anything concrete—or even for that matter, anything vague in the immediate sense.  And if you say that Modi took a vague step, then you my dear friend, are truly, a dumb mf.

The PM or even the President's presence at the site of any attack may not have offered tangible benefits in terms of operational response or public security. In high-tension situations, the Prime Minister’s security logistics can burden local systems already stretched thin. Having experienced the behind the scenes for preparing for the arrival of a high ranking minister, let alone the Prime Minister, is extremely taxing on security personnel on all fronts.

2. Why didn’t Modi speak to the Indian public or the press directly?

Narrative control in international media is influenced by complex geopolitical alignments and media biases, not just government communication. India’s actions, including precision strikes, were supported by solid intelligence and were never meant to be a media spectacle. We did it to send a message to the Pakistani military establishment backed terrorists and not particularly to the world media. Pakistan’s alleged manipulation of global perception is an age-old tactic. They still claim to win the 1999 Kargil War despite not even willing to take back the bodies of their deceased soldiers. India’s perspective was more on focusing on strategic outcomes rather than performative rhetoric.
